Summer is finally here!
And, is it bad that I sometimes forget there are only 60 minutes in an hour, rather than 100? So when I glance at the clock and see "8:57" I think
"Ohh okay, it's all good. I've still got a lot more time until 9:00 hits."
Then I glance over a few minutes later and see "9:03" and think "HOLYCRAP YOU DID IT AGAIN MARGIE!"
Pfffft, yeah that's perfectly normal, right?
I'm in one of those really happy states at the moment. That phase when I talk constantly and say hi to random strangers and actually stay awake during movies and sing songs at the top of my lungs in the car even though the car is packed. That stage when my speech is so optimistic that even barney would want to shoot me. This is good, I've missed this. I'm no longer allowing Houston to suck up all my happiness like the fat lard that it is.
