Stupid Smokers,

Yesterday;
my dad was sitting on the couch complaining about how cigarette prices are apparently sky-rocketing. He keept going on and on about how much more he has to pay for them now and how hard it is to get them and all.
and i was thinking "well gee dad, if you dont want to waste all our money on that stupid crap anymore, then why not just quite smoking"
i just can't get it.
[I totally hate smokers by the way] if you didn't already know that...
But anyway, i just don't see why he would continue to smoke when hes killing his lungs and the lungs of everyone else around him. and i know that its hard to quite smoking...well..i dont REALLY know, but i've heard about how hard it is....but i just cant see why he would set there and spend so much of his breath to complain about cigarettes...but still light up one in the middle of his conversation.

So finally i got tired of hearing all of that crap and i said "okay, dont kill me for saying this...but if cigarrete prices are going so high, wouldn't this be a great time for you to quite smoking?"

yeah, that was real smart of me. It just made dad get seriously pissed off. *sigh*
So then i said "sorry for trying to save your life from cancer"...hah. that went over real well too.

I just don't get all of this, I don't think i will ever be able to understand the thinking of people who smoke. Why would you even pick up a cigarrete in the first place? Don't you know that your going to get addicted? and cigarretes kill.They don't just kill you either, they kill everyone around you too.
If you want tabacco then dude--just go get some of that dipp crap.
Then you'd just be killing yourself.

okay. i'm off my soapbox now...

Tomorrow me and Erika are going to the beach!!...well. that is, if my dad lets me.I hope he does 'cause i REALLY want to go.
